Project - Jubilee Library

This impressive library in the heart of Middleton was granted money from Heritage Lottery Fund.

 

The council wished to repair the historic fabric of the library to bring it back to its former glory, but also to install an access ramp to allow access to the library to wheel chair users.  

 

Repairs to the front porch, tower and windows turned this locally listed building into a landmark, revitalising the park and the busy townscape surrounding this Victorian building.

 

Our role: To provide advice and support, to oversee the grant claims, to obtain consents and inform decisions about this important and well-loved public building.
